Operation: Impact Chicago IL

Matthew 11:12
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

Well, we landed in Chicago on Thursday...hit the ground running and God did the rest!! What a powerful 3 days of outreaching, street ministering, and fire-breathing Evangelism!!  Several people gave their lives to Jesus and I couldn't be more grateful for being a part of what God is doing in Chicago!!

Our church of Pasadena TX will never be the same...Jesus took over and we went out about His business!!  I thank God because, on Saturday night - (The 3rd night of our outreaching)...the church flew back to Texas, and I had the privilege of doing the concert that night...7pm...

There were visitors galore! People were coming in from everywhere - asking for the people who gave them the invitations to come! We let them know that we were a sister church helping out this church...that concert was spectacular!!  People were touched, and the altars were packed with people sorry for their sins...

God is moving in Chicago and the church is steadily growing!!  God spoke to me a portion of scripture that I believe fits this church to a tee...

Nehemiah 6:15-16
15 So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of Elul, in fifty-two days. 16 And it happened, when all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations around us saw these things, that they were very disheartened in their own eyes; for they perceived that this work was done by our God.

We cherish and live for God's approval of our devotion to Him...but there is a cherry on top of the dessert when the enemy is in fear of our God and testifies to that fact!! That is one of my prayers...'Lord, have our enemies tremble at the sound of Your name in our throats and hearts!!'

I believe God is going to turn Chicago inside out for His glory, and this church will be right in the middle of it...pray for Chicago - pray for revival!

The Power of God

Hebrews 12: 29 - 'Our God is a consuming fire...'  I thank my God that we were able to witness this momentous occasion. My brother (Casi), and my sister (Veronica), tied the knot this morning! What a beautiful story of integrity, fidelity, and prayerful persistence! According to testimony...Veronica received a word from Pastor Dillard October 2014 that her prayers would be answered and the one she has been praying for would be by her side not too long from now...this has actually come true!! Through fasting, prayer, counseling and perseverance...that prayer was answered in a big way! Casi, a man of the penal system, made some serious decisions to turn his life around and give Jesus his life. This took a lot of soul - searching, and a lot of humility; usually a man of great pride and arrogance, now had to come to grips with the truth that he was in desperate need of the blood of Jesus. His love for Veronica had surfaced, but her commitment to Christ through him for a loop...

Pain

I finally got a chance to speak with pain; I had a lot of questions for pain to answer hopefully. The first question was obvious – Who asked you to come here? No answer Why do you afflict my life? Still no answer Then I realized I was asking the wrong questions, so I shouted out: Who do you think you are? Pain turned around and finally answered, ‘O just a friend.’ Well you’re no friend of mine! At this, pain started laughing hysterically then said, ‘I remind you of your frailty, your capabilities and your nature, without me you would start thinking that you’re perfect; or even God Himself! I thought about what pain said, then he rose up and asked me…’ Can I go now? I have work to do’ So I asked pain, where are you going? He replied, not very far, I’m still working in this house . I begged pain to leave…he said, “I can leave but there’s a problem.” What’s that? He answered, if I leave, you would have no motivation to seek God. With that, pain turned and walked away – ...

Need of Ministry

1 Samuel 3:1-14  3 Now the boy Samuel ministered to the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation. 2 And it came to pass at that time, while Eli was lying down in his place, and when his eyes had begun to grow so dim that he could not see, 3 and before the lamp of God went out in the tabernacle of the Lord where the ark of God was, and while Samuel was lying down, 4 that the Lord called Samuel. And he answered, “Here I am!” 5 So he ran to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” And he said, “I did not call; lie down again.” And he went and lay down. 6 Then the Lord called yet again, “Samuel!” So Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” He answered, “I did not call, my son; lie down again.” 7 (Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, nor was the word of the Lord yet revealed to him.) 8 And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. So he arose and went to Eli, and said, “H...
