He's Changing Lives

Romans 12: 1 - 2, "I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice; holy and acceptable to God as your reasonable service. Be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind; that you may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God"

God is truly faithful in what He's doing in our church just in the past 2 months. New people are coming in, the church is blessed, and people are rising up to do the will of God. I am so proud of the church that Jesus has allowed me to pastor! We are in the harvest - time of the year, and reaping the benefits of God's goodness through sacrificial giving, and personal evangelism.

Our bible studies are going to start next Friday, and the leaders of them are already brain-storming about Halloween, and how they can make a significant impact that night! As for my family and I, we are truly blessed and well taken care of. The Lord has met some personal and financial needs in our lives (as always), and the timing couldn't be better!

Through all of the difficulties in this life, it sure feels good to know that no matter what, the Lord is on your side, and is working overtime to make sure that you are taken care of, well informed, properly instructed, and / or rebuked! The shaping and sharpening of the Lord is ever beneficial to our spiritual maturity and health...it won't be long before we are getting into a new building and growing to the potential God has ordained...

Channelview TX is ripe for the picking, and the Salazars are so excited to go and do the will of God there...we're taking our cities for Jesus Christ!!

You Must

Exodus 33: 15 - The Moses said to Him, "Lord, if Your presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here." What a powerful time in Killeen TX this past weekend! We were a part of the 2018 Killeen Harvester's Homecoming! It was spectacular! There were wonderful messages from the men of God, awesome testimonies from overseas as well as stateside, and tremendous fellowship and meeting new people. With all that said, there was one thing in particular that stood out to me I want to share with you...during the times of testimony, we enjoy hearing about what the Lord is doing in various churches and the city where they pastor. One of the nights, a young pastor by the name of Miguel Soliz got up and testified about what God is doing in the city he pastors, (Belton TX). He spoke of seeing people saved in his church, and he spoke of God moving on hearts as they evangelize, but that's not what shook me...he also spoke of being diagnosed with Diabetes. And he said...

Pain

I finally got a chance to speak with pain; I had a lot of questions for pain to answer hopefully. The first question was obvious – Who asked you to come here? No answer Why do you afflict my life? Still no answer Then I realized I was asking the wrong questions, so I shouted out: Who do you think you are? Pain turned around and finally answered, ‘O just a friend.’ Well you’re no friend of mine! At this, pain started laughing hysterically then said, ‘I remind you of your frailty, your capabilities and your nature, without me you would start thinking that you’re perfect; or even God Himself! I thought about what pain said, then he rose up and asked me…’ Can I go now? I have work to do’ So I asked pain, where are you going? He replied, not very far, I’m still working in this house . I begged pain to leave…he said, “I can leave but there’s a problem.” What’s that? He answered, if I leave, you would have no motivation to seek God. With that, pain turned and walked away – ...

Speak To The Rock

Numbers 20:1-13 Moses’ Error at Kadesh 20 Then the children of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the Wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh; and Miriam died there and was buried there. 2 Now there was no water for the congregation; so they gathered together against Moses and Aaron. 3 And the people contended with Moses and spoke, saying: "If only we had died when our brethren died before the Lord! 4 Why have you brought up the assembly of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our animals should die here? 5 And why have you made us come up out of Egypt, to bring us to this evil place? It is not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates; nor is there any water to drink." 6 So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of the Lord appeared to them. 7 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 8 "Take the rod; you and yo...
