Pain

I finally got a chance to speak with pain; I had a lot of questions for pain to answer hopefully. The first question was obvious –
Who asked you to come here? No answer
Why do you afflict my life? Still no answer
Then I realized I was asking the wrong questions, so I shouted out: Who do you think you are? Pain turned around and finally answered, ‘O just a friend.’
Well you’re no friend of mine! At this, pain started laughing hysterically then said, ‘I remind you of your frailty, your capabilities and your nature, without me you would start thinking that you’re perfect; or even God Himself!
I thought about what pain said, then he rose up and asked me…’Can I go now? I have work to do’ So I asked pain, where are you going? He replied, not very far, I’m still working in this house.
I begged pain to leave…he said, “I can leave but there’s a problem.” What’s that? He answered, if I leave, you would have no motivation to seek God.
With that, pain turned and walked away – he headed into my bedroom, then my living room, kitchen, garage, bathrooms, front and back yard; then he took off to the church.

Pain is everywhere; he makes no reservations, he simply shows up expectantly, leaving us with a choice to learn, to run, to yearn, or lash out. No apologies, no regrets – pain.

Need of Ministry

1 Samuel 3:1-14  3 Now the boy Samuel ministered to the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation. 2 And it came to pass at that time, while Eli was lying down in his place, and when his eyes had begun to grow so dim that he could not see, 3 and before the lamp of God went out in the tabernacle of the Lord where the ark of God was, and while Samuel was lying down, 4 that the Lord called Samuel. And he answered, “Here I am!” 5 So he ran to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” And he said, “I did not call; lie down again.” And he went and lay down. 6 Then the Lord called yet again, “Samuel!” So Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” He answered, “I did not call, my son; lie down again.” 7 (Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, nor was the word of the Lord yet revealed to him.) 8 And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. So he arose and went to Eli, and said, “H...

Overcoming Witchcraft

Numbers 23:20 - "...Behold I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it..." It is in the devil's nature to oppose, restrict, and curse the people of God. He will stop at nothing to make you and I very small...this is what witchcraft is designed to do; we, as the people of God must stand up and walk in the freedom that God has given us. Too many of God's children simply accept the circumstances they face, this allows the devil to tell you and I that the hell we are going through is either 'normal', or it's 'our fault.' This is a lie from hell! God's people are to be blessed...have dominion and authority - we no longer have to live under the tyranny of hell and its principalities - "...He whom the Son sets free is free indeed" It's time to do business with God and break the chains of witchcraft and curses off of our lives! First of all, you must recognize where the curse is coming from and ...

Uncertainty

Romans 8:24-28 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. 26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. The things we don’t know. You know you’re in the presence of a fool, when they pretend to know things and no nothing. It’s alright to admit that we don’t know. Humility can take you places your talent, gifts, and ...
